LSU E-mail as PSN User ID

I left LSU over 3 years ago and I have always used my @tigers.lsu.edu email address to log into PSN. I tried to purchase something in the Sony store the other day and it asked for my password. I thought I remembered my password and couldnt, but I lost access to my lsu e-mail years ago and I can't reset my password that way. Anyone know any quick fixes on how to change my user ID email to my current everyday e-mail, or am I just SOL and have to wait for support? I am waiting on support for PSN right now on hold, so figured I would ask here.

I'm sure the support will walk you through the process once you confirm your identity.

I ran into the same situation a couple of years ago. I had the option to call and get it sorted out but at the time I had nothing on my PSN account so I just made a new one.

I probably should have done that, they just verified that they changed my sign-in id

Only an idiot would use a .edu email for something they plan to use long term.

I never used my LSU email for anything bc I knew it was temporary

I just didn't really want anything besides school related emails in my school account.
