I dont iknow. You guys will make fun of me. but dream careers were screenwriter, cop, history teacher, or open my own restaurant. All i know is that I need a worthwhile degree.

I go to ULL Ragin Cajuns. It's a decent school, but I think LSU is better. It might be easier to get into the business school but I don't know the requirements.

I heard goiing to ULL is fun, I might even rush. A guy told me getting a good degree at second tier schools is better then a bullshite degree at LSU.

why

GPA was too low. I goofed around my freshman and sophomore year.
I considered environmental science history, or film at LSU. I really regret not doing the rite thing freshman year.

Getting jobs is all about how well you market yourself. If you get a business degree but don't do any internships or put yourself out there, you're not going to do anything.

If you go transfer to UL, take your shite seriously and apply for summer internships, you will have no problems finding a job, at the very minimum in some oilfield capacity.

UNO has both a good business school and a good engineering school. I am not sure how it would compare to ULL engineering though. Hammond is just a sucky town

Look at going to a school like BRCC and doing a pre-whatever program to get your grades up. My ex is there, and I have had to teach her things that the teachers didn't know or taught incorrectly, so it can't be that hard. Hell, she barely knew how to solve formulas going in, and has a 3.25 gpa now

You actually don't need a "worthwhile" degree for any of those. You'd probably need a teaching certificate to teach history, but you're good with an English degree for the other three.

If he wants to teach history, he should probably get a P.E. coach degree, whatever that is, and get certified in history. Most schools want their history teachers to also be coaches -- especially if you're a man.
