Vacation Rentals on Sabine Lake or Toledo

We are looking at an extended weekend this summer with a few other families on a lake somewhere and Sabine could be a good option. I'm also eyeballing Toledo Bend but not getting much google help.
We are looking for a big house that would sleep several families with children. I would like to rent a pontoon boat on said lake. One family is in Dallas, another in Monroe, and another possibly in Houston. The beach is out due to the distance from the ones in Texas.
Any suggestions from the OB is greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the cabins in the different state parks?

Check out tranqulity bay cabins on Toledo. At least I think that's the name.

seems like I remember some nice little cabins at caney...and that would be right between monroe and dallas....
