What kind of motor is on it? If its briggs and stratten the guy behind Ace Hardware on millerville is the best. I have a shroud for a generator there right now. If its Honda K and D on Old Hammond Hwy, if its anything else Priceco on Greenwell Springs rd.

This. My pump burnt up, bought a new one on eBay and 30 minutes later back in business

In all honesty it's the truth. They are pretty basic. And if its the motor, probably pretty easy to fix yourself as well.
Eta, northerntool.com is a good place for pumps as well

It's a honda 3100psi. Pressure will not get up to where it should. Bought new handle and hose. Pressure still low.

Pump is gone. Did you let it run for awhile without spraying water? If so that burns them up real quixk

It's only a year old and no it is not burned up.

Can I ask you how much the pump cost, I have one that is almost new but the pump went bad, if I can get a pump for a reasonable price I won't have to junk it.

You get what you pay for in pumps, so it depends on how much you want to spend. First figure out your engine model and shaft diameter, then shop from there.
Pressure washers are pretty basic, engine, pump, cart, hose, nozzle, tips.
Eta, you will also have to check bolt pattern, but most are fairly standard
And a lot of the big box store pressure washers come with shitty pumps, but decent engines.

Paid $400 for it at Home Depot.

If you are sure the pump isn't burned up, could be the unloader valve. What problems are you having? Just low pressure in general, surging pressure or something else?

Salty is going the right direction, but I just saw it was a $400 rig, which means they probably skimped on the pump. Post a picture of the thing

Look for a "cat" brand pump.
They are pretty decent.

A little more than pretty decent. AR, CAT, and General pumps are the best
