I fished the PAC a few weeks ago. Started fishing at sunrise (incoming tide) and fished till about noon. Tried fresh shrimp, and gulp under a cork with no luck, but caught one 25" red at the end of the trip off of a spinner. I'm heading there tomorrow afternoon to try again. Any tips on how I can put more fish in the box? Not looking for locations just some pointers on how to fish for redfish in this area this time of year, bait, lures, ect. Thanks in advance.

Fish it like like they do in florida. Get in large grassy duck ponds and drift through the middle of them and sight cast. We catch em on suspended twitchbaits, spoons, cocahoe minnows, tsunamis.

My favorite bait there has always been a black/chartruese cocaho on a spinner. If they follow and don't hit I take off the spinner and just reel in the cocaho.

Find dead end canals or ponds get off the main bayou. I would fish the bully camp or sulfur mine area and put shrimp about 2 feet under a popping cork. I might go catch a few myself this weekend. But I'm only five minutes from the launch lol

Goin tomorrow morning. Went last sat. Limited on reds in an hour. I only use spinner with puprple/chart cocahoe or 1/2 oz gold spoon. Wairk shallow ponds and grass lines.
