My biggest knock on him last year was he seemed to have hands of stone sometimes. He could never seem to handle a pass in traffic or under the rim very well. It rears it's ugly head now and again but the Blazers seem to utilize him really well.

Because he was terrible! He'd miss layups, get beat for easy rebounds that he was in position for, turn the ball over near every time he got it. It was miserable to watch him play, but then the box score would say 9 points, 11 rebounds and you'd think when did that happen? He's not playing worlds better this year either. He's on a team where his role is the bare minimum of what it could be...

Not if Montey doesn't let him play.
That being said, I always like Lopez and I'm glad he's in the playoffs and all. But he needed to be a rebounder and defensive player for us and he wasn't really great at that. Granted, we didn't have very good players when he was here.
