The notion that this is some spontaneous uprising in eastern Ukraine is belied by all the evidence of well- organized, trained, armed militias with the capacity to shoot down helicopters.

Generally local protesters don’t possess that capacity of surface-to- air missiles or whatever weapons were used to shoot down helicopters, tragically.

Yeah, it should have been his Benghazi statement, instead of 2 weeks sticking with the protests from the video routine....Good news, he's learning, bad news, too dang late...

The notion that this is some spontaneous uprising in eastern Benghazi is belied by all the evidence of well-organized, trained, armed militias with the capacity to precisely target mortar rounds . . .

I heard he's blaming it on the movie "Frozen".

Every time I see protesters in Ukraine they are all busy gathering used tires or throwing them on a fire...... These people love burning themselves some tires

I get what you're doing here but feel compelled to ask the following:

Do you honestly think what happened in a few hours in Benghazi is in any way comparable to what Russia, it's agents, and their sympathizers are doing in Ukraine? A bunch of angry ragheads could conceivably storm a poorly defended consulate and kill a poorly protected ambassador. Russia (a state actor with considerable resources and a lot of experience at this game) is in the process of fricking annexing a considerable portion of a heretofore sovereign nation. I don't see the connection.

You think mortars and SA missiles are equally easy to come by? Yeah, you probably do.

Define """what happened in a few hours in Benghazi""".

Protest? or Planned attack?

Likely some form of planned operation made opportune by a degraded security environment.

Your analogy is not defensible.

It is your qualification of the nature of supposed analogy that is indefensible.

The POTUS issued a breathtaking gaffe in the RoseGarden. He did so on the precipice of a Select House Committee formation. His was such a familiar choice of words (refer to any number of many GOP politician's comments re: Benghazi), it almost could represent plagiarism. Freudian of sorts. That is the nature of the OP.
