That was my thought too. I didn't think From Soft would do both franchises at the same time, with one being multiplat and one being exclusive, but I'm not going to complain.

Well, if it's true (which it looks like it is) it's being co-developed by Japan Studio (which is Sony). So, I'm guessing Sony is funding the game either entirely or partly.

How was Demon Souls funded? The same way? Because that was an exclusive.

I assume the same way since Japan Studio assisted with the development of it. Also, Sony owns the Demon's Souls IP.

It was done the exact same way. Sony published it in Japan and it was a collaboration between From Software and Japan Studio.
and I was coming here to post same news. Quite glad to see it's coming, but stinks that it got leaked pre-E3.
