Have you ever just woken up...

In the middle of the night from a dead sleep?
If so, do you know why?
I did the other night. Just woke the hell up at 2:30 am or so then couldn't go back to bed and couldn't figure out why.

I do that every night. 1:15 am and if I can go back to sleep 4:05am. At least twice a night and within 15 minutes of those times. Even with OTC sleep aids. I finally just started staying awake at the 4am wake up. Sleep has eluded me for years......

Between my full time job of being on the fire dept and my side job which I'm usually there at 5am my sleep schedule is so messed up I wake up at all hours of the night for no reason! It sucks

Not normally but a few years ago I was on chantix and would go wide awake about 4 every morning. Sleeping sucked on it, but quit smoking.

Yeah, me too. Happened when I got back from Iraq but ain't done it in years. Now, it's happening more and more around the same time, 2:30 or so, for no reason.

I usually have no trouble sleeping, but I did just that a few weeks back...just woke up at about 3 AM and was not the slightest bit sleepy...rolled around in the bed until 4 AM and finally got irritated enough to just get up and go to work...
damn strange to get to work at 5 AM....pretty damn strange to have all of your work for the day done by 10:30 AM....
I am also always amazed that I wake up for a piss at exactly 2:05 AM...never understood why that happens at exactly the same time every night...

I always chug a bottle of water before bed. When I was younger it never bothered me but as I get older I guess my freaking bladder gets smaller
