thanks guys ..... I am now part owner and talent buyer for a spot in NOLA called The Beatnik (formerly the Big Top)
Great space about the same size as M+W. Starting to get some acts int there already including Brother Dege on 6/20. Do me a favor and like it on FB If you do that kind of thing.

Cool. I only went to the Big Top once. It was for a skateboard demo last summer.

thanks CP ..... just got the call though and it looks like I ship out to Boston in a few weeks for a BIG Disney movie.

heady ... I really like the space and location. Really up and coming area. Plus, i will have a green room and guest apartment for certain acts. AND it's three blocks from my house.

and for the record it was already open and operating when i got involved. So had no part in naming it. But don't mind it that much actually. It's a great space.
