22 Bay Scout, thoughts?

Anyone have any experience fishing from or riding in these? Looking at a good deal on a used one, and I know scouts are well built boats, but don't know how good they ride in a chop, if they are comfortable to fish from, etc... The only thing I don't like is that part of the front deck is recessed and then you have the wide gunnels and raised bow section.
