I've been kind of burned out on online poker lately, but when I saw in my Windows game app that it was free i thought i'd give it a try.

It's very well done. The graphics are amazing and you can use your xbox live avatar. They have a pro take down mode in single player that allows you to get free chips without risking your own. I moved through it very quickly and got up to 500 k chips (which is nice because i can play the higher stake tables without buying chips, which i would never do anyway).

Overall, i really like it because the graphics and crowd noise make it so much better than just a table and some cards and maybe an icon to represent the player. Anybody else played the game yet?

I tried to download it a couple of weeks ago, but it wa having major issues. I'm interested, because the details say you can track your stats, etc. I usually play pokerstars, but after I build up 500-1 million chips, I blow it on high stake tourneys. Can't wait until we can play for cash again.

I still play. Merge network, WPN, and Bravada are still open to Americans. Just don't keep more money than you're willing to lose online. Cash out times are still reasonable.

Not really. It's now a state issue. NV and NJ, it's legal. Here in AL, it will never happen. We just recently got craft beer.
