Buddy just called he has the flu...
First time in 10 years he backed out of a trip so he must really be sick
Heard the trout bite was on also, shrimp have been moving in.
Question is why did it take so long? Hard winter? BP oil Spill? Some other reason?
Fished BL for years and except for the year we caught a shite ton of rain it has never been this bad.

Me and a few buddies will be out there in the morning. Gonna have to fight the wind but I'd much rather be out there trying to fish than staying at home.
