Mr. President, I know that Mr. Putin appears prepared to attack Ukraine, and that attack could well be imminent, and it could escalate European tensions to levels not seen in a generation, and Mr. Putin (tired of hearing you muttering-on about "red-lines") has severed further communication with the WhiteHouse . . . . but to address the important stuff . . . . How did you like your Green Tea Ice Cream?

Exclusive: Putin Halts All Talks With White House

As new U.S. sanctions against Russia loom, the Kremlin has shut down—at least for now—intensive high level communications between top U.S. and Russian officials.

Since the invasion of Crimea, President Vladimir Putin and President Barack Obama have had regular phone calls in an often half-hearted attempt to deescalate the ongoing crisis inside Ukraine. But as the U.S. and EU prepare to unveil new sanctions against Russia, Putin has decided the interactions should stop. The Kremlin has ended high-level contact with the Obama administration, according to diplomatic officials and sources close to the Russian leadership. The move signals an end to the diplomacy, for now.

U.S. Reporters "Grill" Obama in Asia: Did You Like Your Green-Tea Ice Cream?
By Andrew Johnson
April 25, 2014

President Obama’s Asia trip has received some tough criticism back in the United States, but the traveling press seems to be giving the president an easy enough time. In Japan on Friday, pool reporters inquired as to whether he’s getting enough sleep and whether he liked the Mount Fiji–shaped ice-cream dessert he had at a dinner in Japan.

Per the pool report:

If they continue to be a mere apparatus of the Leftist State's Ministry of Propaganda, they won't be appalled.

How do you know this?

Journalists are only going to become more corrupt, and are currently being trained by the left wing to support this agenda.

I think you are wrong here. It is getting worse and will trend in that direction for a long time.

There will be no journalists in the future. They are evolving into government copy writers.

Correct. This is assuming the Democrat party will be in complete control of every aspect of our country, which I think is much closer than everyone wants to believe.

Only if there are different people in the Journalism schools. If not they will churn out more pablum spewing, White House job seeking minions.

What I believe we'd like to see are journalists that engage in tough investigations regardless of who may be in office.

With the 24-hour news cycle, the decline of the print news, the constant need to hype the biggest story for ratings and mostly opinion-based TV, we are less likely to see real news and honest (objective) investigations.

Yep, the doubl-standard is so blatantly biased that has become the new norm which is exactly what liberal progressives want. If this had been Bush, the media would have been all over him like white on rice.

We will see a return to real news when the American public demands it. Right now, more Americans would rather tune in and have their idealistic egos stroked and have their paradigms confirmed rather than be informed with real news.

Right now most Americans have no idea that they are being herded.
Most "reporters" are more interested in advancing their own political views than in examining the world around them.
Journalists are no longer being taught to find the truth. Instead they are charged with changing society using the liberal model.

I don't think so. We will see a return to the attack journalism style guided by the aims of the left. True journalism is dead. In its place is liberal obstructionism and evangelizing.

You think Obama wants to be the president that initiated a conflict or war that would be responsible for the death of millions of white people across the globe in his final two years in office?

Global white population = 8%

Global white population after EU-US war with Russia = 4%

Obama's best bet is to stay out of this and worry about his innercity people.
