Did a good deed today: put your name on your stuff.

So I'm leaving Lowe's today in Covington and I see a tackle box in the middle of the parking lot access road. No name on it anywhere. I brought in to the store, but they really didn't have a lost and found. I decided to open it and in the bottom was an expired fishing license with a NOLA address. Underneath that though was a current license with a Covington address.
10 minutes later I put it on his porch.
Put y'alls name where it's easier to find.

Dammit that tackle box is cursed. Every time I use it I don't get a bite so I throw it out the boat. And it always ends up back on my porch. I'm quitting fishing.

This is not Vette Guy's first good deed and sure it won't be his last. Soon after Josey's terminal prognosis he told me how moved he was by VG, whom he had never met , sending him a sizable donation to help with all his med bills and misery. Maybe we will get the privilege of meeting him at an OBGT one day like got to meet so many of you great folks in Monroe last December.

I have been following that thread and may show up . What you did for Josey with your worn out heart warmed his heart till the end and will never be forgotten by me or the OB . I pull for your continued outdoor life and health every day.

Thanks. I was rereading a thread that he posted in just today when I started building that pirogue for him.
