What mostly comes to mind are franchise films like the Pirates of Caribbean, Lord of the Ring, The Matrix, The X-Men movies, Most all of the Batman movies, The Natural Treasure movies, and The Riddick movies.

Yeah his performance was slightly underwhelming his entire run.. Even in the 1st movie which is by far the best.. He just never felt like a comfortable fit in the Will Turner role... Though I really not who would have been better either

Disagree if we're talking the 1st movie alone..
2-4 i can understand..

I think the 1st movie was vey good.. Script was fine and the movie could have just stood alone b/c it embodied what most people loved about the theme park ride. To this day it's the first ride that I ride when we go to WDW and that I feel is why the Disney company was able to sell the movie the way they did..

Well hell yeah... Cap Jack is one of the most strangely interesting characters

Agree with you... But I have a hard time placing any current actors in the age range of bloom. I guess it's b/c the type casting that occurs so frequently.. Like Knightly she never right in anything except period pieces

With some of the movies like Pacific Rim, Starship Troopers, or Pitch Black et al the acting fits the type of movies that they are. Great dramatic acting wouldn't have really made them better. If anything it might have taken something away. Those types of movies are about creating a fun or creepy atmosphere. I don't really need to connect with the characters that much.

So the directors told them to act shitty on purpose? Good enough for me.

yes. some of the dialogue between Hunnam and the asian chick made me wonder how they didn't try to re shoot.

I just imagine Orlando Bloom is exactly like he is in the "Extras"
All cocky and full of himself about his looks while hating Johnny Depp
