Nothing to do with the current JG situation where people talk about replacing him in the draft, but how would you guys feel about drafting a tight end mid to late to pair with JG kinda like how we did with drafting JG in the first place while having Shockey. Or is Josh Hill that.

If I was the Saints, I'd flip him ASAP but people would freak out and be like "oh no, he the greatest."

not to trading him, just at the obliviousness of this not happening. its been discussed over and over on how this is probably not a real possibility.

Graham was drafted to replace Shockey. Watson already does what you're looking for.

Not for long though, if we end up using what we have Id say Hill will have that spot, or will get a chance at it.

If Colt Lyerla is off the coke, he'd be a good pickup late.

You get a 1st Round draft pick, you trade him ASAP. You get a 2nd, you consider it IMO. He caught 86 balls last year. You can get 40 out of an average starter.

A true #1 WR would be more threatening IMO even though Graham does create mismatches and is a big threat, he also dropped plenty and has shown to not be that physical.

Very different situation. Shockey was turing 30 before the start of the season when they drafted Graham. The Graham, Hill, and Watson combo is really good for the next couple years.

So, unless some TE really slides down their board then there are other needs that are evident for the team.

OK. So how are the Saints going to get a true #1 WR out of trading Graham? If this is true then what other team is going to give up a true big time #1 WR for Graham?

I'd stay as far away from him as possible. In addition to his coke problems he's also a Sandy Hook truther.

Would love to get Troy Niklas in the 3rd, but I doubt he'll be there. He's a great blocking TE prospect, and he's no slouch in the passing game either. Would be a great compliment to JG.

With Jimmy, Watson and Hill, I think we are good at TE for a few years at least.

Graham will be signed long term. Don't care if you like it or not, it will happen. Deal with it. Move on.

Hill needs some more development, but looks like he can get the job done as the second tight end.

Until Hill comes around, Watson proved to be more than capable. I think he still has another two years left in him.

Better question would be...if you could flip JG to pick up a WR like:

Crabtree
Thomas
Bryant

would you? Those 3 come to mind because of their production and will command high $$ like JG.

Lord no. His production isn't close to Graham's.
