I believe it is "ref, you suck" but it is actually quite fun. I prefer just booing the shite out of the call the whole game like the Hornets fans did against the Spurs a few years back. good times

Hell for some it probably influences more favorable calls. For other refs it probably has the opposite effect.

NBA refs will do whatever gives them the most attention. You should be completely silent after a bad foul on your team and go absolutely fricking nuts after a bad foul call on the other team
