Info on the waterfowl lottery LINK

There will be more licences than in past year, this was last years results:

General drawing 2796 4215 2796

Info from the guide on waterfowl

quote:

Any of our camps located east of the Missouri River have good waterfowling options. All you need is a pair of waders, a few dekes, maybe a spinning wing decoy and some steel shot and you will be all set.

The first week of pheasant season the hunting for pheasants doesn't start until noon and after that it starts at 10:00am so a morning duck shoot works out perfectly if you are looking to fit in a little extra action.

Still waiting on a call back from the guy that does the booking. We are also going to need a head count on how many dogs are coming and breeds and if any have experiences with wild pheasants.

What total cost are we looking at?

920 for the room and board plus access..

Out of state licenses?
Duck stamps?
20hr drive?

$920 includes the room board and access to hunt.

Licence, food, gas and alcohol will be extra. 1400 miles from BR. I think we have to put 25% down at booking and pay the rest by Sept 15th.

Assuming we could get licenses over the counter at wal marts? Looks like $1500 totalish.

I have 2 labs I could bring but would probably just bring one.
