As I do on a regular basis, I enjoy following former LSU baseball players on their path to "The Show"

I ran across Mikie Mahtook's stats this morning and noticed how he is absolutely crushing the ball. I sure do hope he gets the call soon.

Here is a link to his stats: Mikie Mahtook Stats

I am a little bored this morning so I will add some more former tigers

Raph Rhymes
Mason Katz
Matt Clark
Jacoby Jones
Ryan Schimpf
Anthony Ranaudo
Louis Coleman
Sean Ochinko
Austin Nola
Chris Cotton Sweet stache bro
Ryan Eades
Will Lamarche

ETA: Gausman did shut down Mahtook on Sunday

Where is he going to play?
Not going to replace Myers in right or Jennings in center. Can he play left? Maybe DeJesus? He will really need to go on a tear to dent the Rays lineup.

He went on an 11-11 run a week ago. That helps. But like I said then, he's much more likely to be traded for pitching with who the rays have in the OF.

I want to know what else Matt Clark has to do to get called up

he's raked at every level AND in Japan for a year.

then he comes back and the Mets put him in AA and he keeps bashing

18 hits and only 3 rbi, rest of the team must suck, or he's batting leadoff?

I've looked at a few box scores and it seems he is batting 6-7 in the lineup

Clark has been so unlucky since he got to pro ball in terms of what team he's been on. He really couldn't have played much better than he has. He's mashed from day 1, just needs to find a team that has an open spot for him

It doesn't get any more wide open than what the Mess have right now at first base.
