I need a good jump rope

I'm looking on amazon.com and there are just so many. Leather or rope, 8, 9, or 10 ft? I just don't know. Please help. I would like to stay under $25.

Hell no to either.
I can't remember where I got mine--either got it walking into the Wal-Mart on O'Neal or the Academy Sports on Siegen--but it's just a plain old speed cable jump rope with foamed handles. If you type "jump rope" into Amazon, those are the first kind to pop up.
I happened to get the following UFC brand, but I'm sure others would work just as well ( LINK):
