Has anyone been playing this? It seems like a really enjoyable MOBA in the third person instead of the traditional LoL and Dota. I just started playing it but seems like a really good take on this game type. I didn't see a thread about it so wanted to see what others thought.

Hi Rez games has three interesting F2P games. Tribes and Global something that I havent touched yet.
Smite has some great FPS feel to it vs the clicking around to move your character. You control it with typical FPS controls with a third person view. Also uses some mythical gods which is sorta nice.

They started down the jungle path a bit, originally you could play any team setup, and that was a huge benefit. Controlling the jungle became too much a priority.
Also, every character either has a dash or a way to get out of a root/hold, except for like 4 of them, which makes those characters far less powerful. I want to see a little more creativity in character design.

I had played tribes way back when the original came out. Had a blast with it. Microtransactions can kill any game though.

If you need any info, let me know. I've been playing for a year and a half, worked my way up beta ladders and such.
