To me, this is the case we should be fighting for.

Bundy is a moron.

This case actually has a legal argument.

I also am all for the feds giving the federal land to the States.

Fed gov pays out almost a half billion dollars in PILT payments to the states for these lands along with the cost of BLM to manage these lands.

PILT payments by states

Mmm huh...and the President has a LEGAL responsibility to enforce the Law (not just those he likes) and defend OUR borders. So your "legal argument" seems to be a moot issue.

It might not be Bundy that is the moron here buddy.

My take on the point would probably be the same one as Bundy's (moronic stature nws). And that would be that when the President goes rogue, picking and choosing the Laws he enforces...then why should the common folk respect the Law? Or rather, his authority? Because of the bigger gun?

There are still some people in this nation that won't cower, when slammed, te. We do have a strong tradition of rejecting unlawful authority.

Obama lawyered up just today; picking a Chief Counsel who'll defend his (anti-Consitutional) action to the hilt. But it won't be the Supreme Court that shuts them down; because they already show that they IGNORE Law. It'll be the gun. Their choice. As usual per the Comm...err...Socia...err Progressives. Whatever.

Here's a choice little tidbit on the deputy director of the BLM, Neil Kornze:
quote:

Before coming to the BLM, Kornze worked as a Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada. In his work for Senator Reid, which spanned from early 2003 to early 2011

Illegal immigration has a legal argument and the President chooses to ignore the laws.

He can't pick and choose which laws to follow just for his benefit.

Just cut all federal funding to Texas tomorrow, no need for violence. And then sit back and watch them beg.

Great precedent. Feds come in and steal a state's land and if they fight back, cut all federal benefits that are due to the tax paying citizens.

I wish this would happen. As a resident of Tx. I would much rather pay a State income tax rather than a Federal income tax. I think we could survive without the assistance of Washington.

Hell, LB...it's the Fed that is out of money; but for the QE dance. Texas and Louisiana would do fine not having to send money up there, and KEEP OUR resources.

The Fed will need the gun, and use it; they always do. Herding cats. Or Tigers.

I did hear that Nevada militia guy - when O'Reilly asked what it would take to push them too far...and the guy said "something with the Banks".

I pray that Obama goes away asap. Before this thing goes off. There are smart people who can absolutely fix our problems...with plenty to spare. Disgusting.

I agree 100%.

But we can't pick and choose what laws we will follow because we have a shitty president.

Not what I'm talking about. If a citizen earned benefits pay the man, if Texas knowingly violates federal law stop all federal subsidey money to the state, federal road money, farm subsidy money, federal student loans, funding of the Texas National Guard etc etc. It would take about a month to break them.
