The whole situation is bad, but is a component of war. What makes matters much worse was the Army's attempt at covering up what really happened.
I am really surprised that a movie has not been made out of this story.
Seems like Taylor Kirsch would be the optimal candidate to play Tillman (Friday Night Lights/Lone Survivor).

I hated hearing the guy that lived be so hard on he guys that shot them . they were under attack at the bottom of the cannyon and the shots were coming down on them from the mountain they were just firing all over the place trying to survive. I know I'm not in his shoes but it kinda took me as non forgiving on his part .
