Why do so many people have such a problem with calling out trolls etc etc?
I don't get it. They're not supposed to call them out on their bullshite because they're prospects? Spare me.
That's what recruiting has become and it will only get worse with so many gullible adults and younger fans following these kids twitter accounts. They'll grasp onto anything and run with it. They love that attention and they'll keep doing it until more people call them out on it.

Anyone that follows a kid on twitter gets what they deserve. Recruiting sucks to follow now. Nice to know something about the recruits but I'll let the coaches stress over it

It just separates the prospects who love your favorite school (LSU for us) from those who obviously do not. Last cycle is the perfect example of this. For rational adults anyway who really do not care what an 18 year old kid tweets.

I don't care if someone 'calls out a troll.' But what you just described is something that Jimmy and people who take recruiting too seriously have created. You can't inundate kids with phonecalls and texts asking them what color socks they're wearing today and then jump on your high horse when it goes to their heads.
I don't have twitter, and I praise reporters that stay clear of the drama and just report objectively. By giving whoever he's calling out more attention, Jimmy is just perpetuating this crap. The more of a circus recruiting becomes, the more articles a year Jimmy gets to write.

Well I follow none and don't tweet so I don't who that's referring to. Also, I said you shouldn't worry about their tweets. Follow it, read it with a grain of salt, then be happy if they go here or whatever if they don't.
