What a shite show.

Not sure why I chose this over GoT tonight but for some reason I did. It was a mistake.

What didn't you like about it?

Is wasn't as good as the first one but it was still pretty good. Gave a lot more background info and I thought it was neat how most of the movie was supposed to be going on during the original 300 fight. And we got to see how it ended. It was like the prequel and the sequel while also showing what was happening around the rest of Greece while Sparta's 300 was fighting.

Plus Eva Green. I mean come on, that's worth the price of admission alone.

The allied Greeks followed up their success by destroying the rest of the Persian fleet at the Battle of Mycale, before expelling Persian garrisons from Sestos (479 BC) and Byzantium (478 BC). The actions of the general Pausanias at the siege of Byzantium alienated many of the Greek states from the Spartans, and the anti-Persian alliance was therefore reconstituted around Athenian leadership, as the so-called Delian League. The Delian League continued to campaign against Persia for the next three decades, beginning with the expulsion of the remaining Persian garrisons from Europe. At the Battle of the Eurymedon in 466 BC, the League won a double victory that finally secured freedom for the cities of Ionia. However, the League's involvement in an Egyptian revolt (from 460–454 BC) resulted in a disastrous defeat, and further campaigning was suspended. A fleet was sent to Cyprus in 451 BC, but achieved little, and when it withdrew the Greco-Persian Wars drew to a quiet end. Some historical sources suggest the end of hostilities was marked by a peace treaty between Athens and Persia, the so-called Peace of Callias.

It's not over until movie 3 or 4 they still gotta send the Persians home with their tails tucked.

I had heard it was pretty good.

Not as good as the first, but it was so epic nothing can be, but still heard most enjoyed this one.

There's multiple girls at my office that look better than Green, she's nothing special.

Movie was ok, I liked the first better

I thought it was pretty good actually. Too many slow-mo scenes, but that was my only critique against it. Not better than the first, but still pretty good. Better than most sequels at least. Looking forward to #3.

Elaborate. SN: This is one of those movies you have to see in 3d to fully appreciate.

I agree on both statements.

I don't know where you work but Eva Green does not do anything for me.

This is where you negated your whole post.

ETA: But, I hope you're right about the movie. I was excited about this when it was being promo'd but haven't seen yet. I love that whole story.

It's ok. Fairly entertaing. It's a cheesy action flick. I don't know what OP was expecting, but I got about what I was expecting out of it. Some gore and action. A little sex and nudity. I didn't go in expecting a great movie.

Have you seen their awesome tits when they're swinging a sword? Didn't think so.

She didn't do much for me.

The first movie felt like a fun video game and the second felt like a much shittier version of that game.

I loved it, and I expect there to be a third.

The only tiny part I didn't like was the backstory on Xerxes and the "magical water". I felt the audience was cheated.
