BMW X3. Fun to drive. Easy to park. Lots of room. She will love it.

Lulz at you.

You could get a brand new 2015 Tahoe with that budget.

Volvo V60. It looks so much better than an SUV.

if she likes that, show her this. Lexus RX. Start at 45k. The preferred small SUV of MILFS everywhere.

Lexus SUVs are safe and wonderfully reliable and have all the driving fun of a Conestoga Wagon. I love Lexus sedans and am a repeat (and present) owner of them, but their smaller SUVs, meh.

I would go with a Yukon, I just got out of a Avalanche that gave me no problems over 4 years. The AFM on the Yukon engine will give you good fuel mileage relative to that sized vehicle. It's bigger than any of the others, tows more, hauls more but it's easy to drive and good in inclement weather.

There's a refresh due for Yukon in MY '15, the pricing of '15s will be higher, there will be deals on '14s.

Good luck.
