They are screwing up my computer but if I disable them I can't get on to many sites (including getting my email from yahoo.) Any suggestions.

Allow cookies, go to site you want to go to, then restrict cookies. If you computer is not set to get rid of cookies when you exit the browser, you should be good to return to site.

Mozilla Firefox has a security function that asks permission before a cookie is installed.

Almost every site I am going to now I get flooded with popups if I allow cookies. If I remove the cookies and don't allow them, my computer works fine....except it won't let me log on at many places because I am not allowing cookies...arghhh.
