I would bet retailers (nike, etc) are probably waiting until closer to football season to start rolling out the new stuff.

Was going to start a thread, but found this in the search. We are a little over a month away and I just searched LSU Sports and a few other sites and saw no merchandise with the new logo. I was wondering if anyone has found anything online. I'd really like to get a polo or hat with just the tiger logo.

this whole situation with the new logo has been really weird. It came out before basketball season and everybody loved it, but it hasn't been on any merchandise. pretty much the only thing you could find it was on the promotional giveaways at basketball games.

this. the logo isnt new unless you consider everything under a year old new. It definitely should be on apparel by now.

I don't know what the official university plan was, but it seemed like it was a half premier for the bball team and after they saw that people liked it, they decided to fully promote it for football. In that way, it seems new. Or, I could just be totally out of the loop out here in Houston.
But I am with you in that there should be some merchandise with the logo on it somewhere. You would think it would be plastered on everything.
Speaking of logos, I have this old glass mug with the original Toonces hurricane logo on it that I couldn't get rid of. It fell last night and broke. I think it was a sign as it was the last (I had very few) piece of merchandise I have with Toonces or the flying head.

They're probably just stalling as long as they can to dump old toonces inventory before they roll out all kinds of cool stuff with the new logo

they said a year ago that they wouldn't be releasing any new toonces merchandise, but if you go look at the newest arrivals on lsushop.net there is always new stuff with toonces.

That makes sense. I do know that they will likely get me with the delay. I just bought a hat and polo and will probably buy something with the logo when it comes out.
