...Reposted from the Music Board since this board gets much more traffic...

I was just reading the local Daily Comet (Thibodaux) Obituary page and saw that he had died.

I figured some of you that frequent this board may know him and are Korn fans. I recognized Korn even though I don't really follow them, but never knew that he was originally from Houma and had family in Louisiana.

According to the obituary, his parents live in Bourg (South Terrebonne)

Cause of death was "complications from a blood clotting disorder".

Hemophilia is the first blood clotting disorder that comes to my mind.

Either it clots too much and you get put on warfarin or not enough and you bleed to death on a routine cut.
If on warfarin, you diet and compliance are serious, if it works too well you can bleed out

It's a vague term that does not lend to specificity.

My assumption is something acute rather than chronic, where for one reason or another he threw a clot in an organ that doesn't like them, be it the heart, lung, or brain.

I wouldn't consider being prescribed warfarin/cumadin as a "blood clotting disorder". It's an anticoagulant typically prescribed to people with arterioscleroses or an elevated risk of stroke.
