Not their best work, but finished 3rd in the morning session to advance. Only scored a 197.1, finished behind OU at 197.500 and UGA at 197.300.

Semifinal scores not carried over to finals, so hopefully the girls can relax and bring their best stuff at finals.

I have already accepted the fact that Bama will win this and there will be much rejoicing and printing of shirts.

It's in Bham.

It's been a 3-horse race all season between OU, Florida, and LSU, but I'm sure the homecrowd won't hurt Bama's chances.

Qualifying for individual national championships on Sunday:

Vault:
Ashleigh Gnat
Rheagan Courville

Uneven Bars:
Rheagan Courville

Beam:
Sydney Ewing

Floor:
Jessica Savona

All Around: *The LSU sports article didn't mention the all around competition. However, I believe the top 4 plus ties compete in the all around individual national championship that includes:
Rheagan Courville
Jessie Jordan

Unfortunately Lloimincia Hall didn't qualify for the National Championship on floor. She got a 9.85 which is obviously not her best performance.

Pretty disappointing how bad they look on the two closest championship stages they've competed on (197.3 at SEC's and 197.1 here). I really hope they prove us wrong though

Damn, so after all the national hype Loimincia got, she's basically done?

Let's go girls. Take a deep breath, calm down and let's win this thing and show them Bama girls who the national champs are.

I was there & Tigers had a lot of support in this meet. Very disappointed & not sure why they keep faltering in these settings. Ending on a bye is never good in finals. If nerves got the best of them today, I can't imagine tomorrow with an arena filled with screaming Bama fans.

Glad you were there for our Tiger Girls. Maybe they can get the nerves under control but you are right that Bama crowd will be crazy. Hopefully we can just take the me against the world attitude and pull this thing through. Wish my family and I could be there to cheer them on but will certainly be pulling for them from afar.

So we beat Bama once this season and see them again in the Championship round. Sound familiar?

(I know it's completely different, but what the hell ... this is the rant, I'm not supposed to be logical)

I would love to believe all six teams have an opportunity to win but can't believe the classless trailer trash of Gumpville, AL would allow it to happen.

Everything they (and the SEC HQ) do is calculated help them cheat...uh, I mean win.

Even though UF, LSU, or OU should win it all...I would be amazed if the Gumps aren't handed the title. If by some miracle it's fair and another teams wins the title, the Gumps will simply wait ten years and then claim the title anyway.

Falling just a little short is mental. LSU needs to get mentally tough in matches like this and that starts at the top.
