I am preparing a deed for a family member that just bought some property in New Orleans. He wants to transfer it to a single member LLC. Is there anything special I need to put on the deed or any other documents that I need to complete to record the deed? For example, in NJ I have complete certain tax documents when transferring property.

TIA

Speak to a lawyer in person. I honestly can't think of a licensed attorney who will give free legal advice over a message board.

a single member LLC is almost the same as a sole proprietorship.
