So CNBC is off air this morning because the Markets are closed, so I switch over to Foxnews to see if I can get some updates on what is going on and holy fricking shite, this is horrible...

Easily as bad as MSNBC

Seriously, why isn't there a general news station with as good of quality/non-bullshite as CNBC.

Maria Molina is the only thing good about this morning show

I've heard that they are the best out there, but the American version isn't in HD... Just looks fricking horrible. Or at least the few times I have attempted to check it out.

Speaking of which, was watching it this morning. They ran the video of Harry Reid saying the ranchers who showed up to support Bundy were domestic terrorists. When the clip ended, not one word from the five panelists sitting at the table. No discussion whatsoever. Moved right on into the next topic.

Getting back to your post son, I agree to a large extent. That Douchey guy needs to go. He gets on my nerves after about the time he opens his mouth.

MSNBC's prime time may be as hackish as FOX's prime time, but Morning Joe is way better than FOX And Friends.

Fox news is easy to explain.

2 douchebags and a hot chick in the middle wearing a skirt.

Reason the ratings are so high?
Perverts hoping to get a panty peep.

Or maybe some men just like looking at hot chicks and don't pay attention to the douches on either side.

I like looking at attractive women ... always have.

In the morning ,CBS is decent with Charlie Rose...or at least it's as good as it gets.

You might be surprised how good PBS NewsHour is. It's on at 6 in the evening. It's much better than typcial network/cable offerings.

this is nothing new

BBC or Skynews is some of the best coverage you can get.

RT isn't bad when they are not pushing Russian propaganda.

All morning news shows are dumb. The channel is irrelevant.

I only watch Fox News when it comes to national media coverage. The rest of them are unpatriotic and should be hung for treason, IMO.

CNBC is business oriented. What made you think MSNBC or Fox would have a similar format?

Try apples to apples and watch Fox Business instead of FNC or MSNBC instead of complaining about them.

There's only so much breaking news to go around, and they have 24 hours to fill. And, opinion thinly disguised as news is what the core audience wants. Fox is just more blatant about it than CNN. And they dumb down the infotainment to about an 8th or 9th grade level, which makes it harder to endure because they hit you over the head with their talking points over and over.

It's just a product. I guess some-though probably not all-of the on-air talent are ideologically driven, but the people behind the scenes churning out the copy for them to read are just doing a job. They're producing right wing content now. Next year they may be producing left wing content for MSNBC.

As others have said, there are sources for real news out there.
