Have any of you used this stuff as a deer repellant on things you have planted? Experience and tips? Looking to preserve a 1 acre stand of sunflowers for this year's dove field. Deer wiped them out last year.

Milorganite = fertilizer made out of human waste that supposedly repels deer

ETA: Corrected spelling.

I've had great success with it on a 5 acre field with high deer densities. You'll have to re-apply every few weeks, especially if you have some heavy rains.

Wait, you need us to come drop a deuce every couple of weeks in your field?!?! I'm not doing it unless I get a bid to the hunt.

I shot some DNR fields this year and they had also cut open a few bags and put them out around the perimeter.
