Just got new glasses. How long does the adjustment period take?

It feels weird and funny to me as I'm squinting and everything looks weird but I assume this should be normal for a very short time.
My old glasses was also my first pair and that's why I'm experiencing this now.
Thoughts?

I wore some 3-d glasses yesterday at the movies... I feel bad for people that have to wear glasses daily

Nah, you should be pretty much good to go if the prescription is correct. It might seem "strange" at first, but you shouldn't be squinting.

Well it's not so much as squinting but more like a refocusing your eyes kind of thing for the strangeness.

As someone who has worn glasses since the age of 7, I can tell you it doesn't take all that long.
A week tops, if you're still having problems, get back to the doctor.
