Trying to get an updated PC for my home office. Is this a monumental piece of crap?

Or would this be sufficient? I bought an HP Pavillion from Groupon and have had great success with it. I'm just looking for something to play around on at home and that I can connect all of my wireless devices to it.

What does no WIFI or suprise jack in the box mean? I can't tell the difference between their real specs and their bullshite talk.

Anything you buy these days is sufficient for just a home office.

You can add a USB Wifi Adapter for a few dollars.

Go for it. Looks totally fine for an office PC, and good price even if refurb.
