Record collection storage

I have acquired a large collection of older records. It contains every Beatles first print, every Rolling Stones (including compilations for both) lots of 60's and 70's and early 80's rock, Hendrix, Marvin Gaye, Tom Petty, Elton John. Lot's of good stuff.
But I just have it in boxes. Some even in the attic in the garage.
I was looking through them yesterday, and they are just in great shape and I think I want to buy a good phonograph and set the collection up.
Are there any good modern products, shelves or cases for records?
I was thinking some I want to have visible.
I guess at worst I could clear the built in shelf.
I already went through and sold the ones I didn't want and its still a lot of records.

Ikea makes a product called the Expedit that is the go-to for record storage. If you don't live by an Ikea, I think Wal-Mart and Target recently came out with a knock-off that should do the job.

You don't need specific shelves or anything, but get them out of the garage and attic, as the extreme weather can cause damage to vinyl. Just make sure you don't stack the records on top of one another and instead display them on their side. The pressure of stacking vinyl is bad for the records on the bottom.
