Sadly...you are most likely correct ! Alleva will prob. "sell" this HOME game to jerry-world,Atl. or Houston....then proceed to tell the fans LSU needs more $ just to keep up and/or...we have to do this for recruiting...B.S. !

Gotta love bitching about hypothetical scenarios.

THANKS FOR NOTHING, ALLEVA (maybe)

I love a true home and home, not this crap we are doing with Wisconsin (Houston and Green Bay).

This is a good one. Love the idea!

I'd love a home and home with a major program,Like wisconsin or Oregon or Florida state. But taking a top ten team on the road into a no win situation is pretty stupid.

OK. Let's just ignore the home-and-homes we HAVE had and focus on the TCU series that was moved to Arlington and put every ounce of the "blame" for what you perceive to be a bad thing on Alleva. Flawless line of thinking.

I do understand you have a biological requirement to bitch. Hey, something that is inconvenient for you COULD happen. In that case, we have no option but FIRE ALLEVA!

Kind of agree with you here. This deal benefits Syracuse. LSU? Not so much.

Sorry pal, you don't "understand" anything about me OR anyone else on this board...stop being so self-aggrandizing.
Now, tell us all about the great home/home matchups we've had since this neutral site "money-grab" came about ? Does Va Tech from years ago ring a bell ? EVERY possible good/great potential home/home match-up since, has been de-railed into one of those pro stadiums at a huge mark-up in price and the home schedule thusly degraded. All the while fans in the B.R. area are told these games are great for "exposue", recruiting and cash...yet, we're never told how they damage the local economy ! Recruiting...give me a break !
An occasional neutral site season opener would be fine...but, we're now getting a steady dose of these overpriced games...all the while being told we have to raise season ticket prices while NOT telling us what kind of $ is made on these games, what kind of $ is expected from the SEC network etc.
Yeah I'm pissed, because he's shitting on loyal season ticket holders and the B.R. area economy as well....that's a FACT

Completely false.

Holy Jesus. Cry me a fricking river. Did you not see the study showing the impact of LSU sports on the BR economy? There are literally hundreds of millions of reasons that LSU doesn't owe Baton Rouge one bit. That said- It's not a goddamn charity. It's a business. As soon as you understand that, your life will be much easier.

And as much as some of you would like the game to be in NYC, we Cuse fans are sick of it. We've played USC, Penn State, and Notre Dame down there. We give up a home game to be outdrawn by opposing fan bases.

Hey, we can certainly align with that. We keep moving our biggest non-conference games out in Texas.

Syracuse in south Louisiana in early September. Wow good luck with the heat and humidity. Throw some global warming in there by 2017 (according to experts?) and they may pass out after warm ups.
