Does .10 BAC EQUAL 10% of ur blood is alchohol?

In an argument with a guy and he's saying that he blew a .23 BAC and he's saying 23% of his blood was alchohol. I told him he's crazy.

What says the OT? I could be wrong.....

And an article or something I could show him saying he's wrong?!?!?!

pretty sure 0.08 limit means 0.08%. So your friend is off by a factor of 100..

Just pause and think for a second what 10% alcohol blood would mean. Then realize just how stupid of an idea that is. That's almost twice as strong as a standard domestic beer.

From Wiki:
quote:

For instance, in North America a BAC of 0.10 (0.10% or one tenth of one percent) means that there are 0.10 g of alcohol for every dL of blood.

You can probably cite sources from the article if he doesn't accept Wikipedia.

Fwiw, the human body is about 65 percent water.

I laughed too. The only reason I questioned is because I'm drunk and he had someone else behind him saying he was right.
