How much of Shark Tank is staged?

This show kicks arse. im one of those people, however, who, upon discovering that a majority of content is staged, would stop watching.
A quick google search shows that all of the sharks are wired and that the control center sends them questions to ask, specifically Kevin, who they deem the pressure man.
Cuban says that about 70% of the deals he makes actually go through. about 50% of all deals are actually made, because, a lot of times, the sharks will find further issues with things like financial records. it is essentially a good faith agreement.
I liked this bit from him:
From everything else I read, it seems pretty legitimate. I thought it was cool that the meetings can last a few hours. Wish we could watch the entire thing somehow
yall have any other insight like the stuff above?

“…I love the scams. “With these life pills you can go 8 days without eating.” Obviously [ABC] edits [the pitch] so it goes down from 2.5 hours down to a half-hour down to 8 to 14 minutes. And so knowing it’s going to be edited, I’ll rail into them and say like, “F*ck you, there’s NO WAY…” I love to mess with them.”

It's not staged. But obviously it's edited to make things seem differently than it happens.

I would't be surprised if some things O'Leary says are fed to him but most of the serious business questions have to be straight from the sharks, hell they would be way smarter than any producer on that show and they are the ones trying to make financial investments. I did read an article where Cuban said they had to re-film some segments because of calling bullshite on products or people and it needed cleaning up for TV. The same article did say no shark has any Knowledge of the products prior to being pitched on them.
The show is one of the best on TV right now.

I am a huge fan of the show and have always wondered this, too. I LOVE when they show "updates" about past deals. I wonder how "hands on" the sharks really are... If the new entrepreneurs REALLY have Cubans personal cell # to call with any questions ??

Would really be cool to see how and why some of the deals don't go through.
Any of yall ever buy a product that you saw on shark tank?

Im pretty sure if they make a deal and it ends up going thru, that they would have his number... I mean, he owns part of their company now....

Like someone else said, they may find bad financial records they didnt show initially, or patents pending may not get cleared, etc...

Obviously, but we don't get to see that part. Just saying that it'd be nice to see it.

Its on now and i see no ear pieces in any of their ears
And why would the producers know what to ask? These are all smart business men, i think the know more than the producers

I think they ask questions more geared towards making it for for TV
