WASHINGTON — The Census Bureau, the authoritative source of health insurance data for more than three decades, is changing its annual survey so thoroughly that it will be difficult to measure the effects of President Obama’s health care law in the next report, due this fall, census officials said.

The changes are intended to improve the accuracy of the survey, being conducted this month in interviews with tens of thousands of households around the country. But the new questions are so different that the findings will not be comparable, the officials said.

An internal Census Bureau document said that the new questionnaire included a “total revision to health insurance questions” and, in a test last year, produced lower estimates of the uninsured. Thus, officials said, it will be difficult to say how much of any change is attributable to the Affordable Care Act and how much to the use of a new survey instrument.

I see the administration has co-opted yet another branch of the federal government to spout their lies. Eventually every single branch of this bloated regulatory structure will be politicized. Hopefully they can't accomplish their goals of complete disinformation and squashing of opponent's voices before 2016 gets here.

If I were the ingoing President, and obviously, not a Dem.. I would take a scorched earth approach. Upon giving my acceptance speech at the inauguration, I would immediately fire the heads of every Department across the board and order security not to let them have access to their offices. Then ask Congress to appoint several special investigators to look into every single department with a fine tooth comb. Finally, I would order the release to Congress and the public, all data on the Fast and Furious and Benghazi debacles that has not yet been released to Congress.

In ~3 months, the usual suspects will flood the board with encouraging statistics belched forth from the Ministry of Truth proclaiming the success of this presidents defining legislative achievement.

It is oft said that there are lies, damned lies, and then there are statistics, but now we want to improve on that by lying about the statistics. The govt. under Bozo has changed all of the metrics on so many aspects. Prices at the grocery store stays relatively flat because the things on the shopping list are being changed totally or replaced by smaller packaging on the shelves. Early this morning it was announced that the numbers of welfare moms now exceeds working moms in the country. We as a country are under our leaders "care" trying to get to the bottom of the hole by digging deeper. WE ARE frickED in so many ways that one is left to laugh and cry in tears at the same time.

I promise you this will not stop Obama, the MSM, and the libtards on this board from citing the numbers found under the old survey and comparing them to the new, post-Obamacare numbers from the new survey (which, all things being equal, would show a lesser number of uninsured than the old survey would).

Of course it was ok to use the survey that resulted in a showing of a higher number of uninsured when campaigning for healthcare reform. Can't use those inaccurate numbers now though!
