Lafayette Food Journey (suggestions wanted)

So a friend and I will be driving around the Lafayette and Acadiana area this Friday eating at as many places as possible. We came up with the idea because we decided we wanted to drive out to Billy's Boudin then figured why not make a foodie day of it. We'll probably sample 1 or 2 things from each place. We haven't narrowed down which places exactly yet, but we have a list so far. I need to call and see which places will be open or closed since it's Good Friday. Here are places we want to stop at. No particular rhyme or reason for some. Just different places we haven't been to.
Billy's Boudin, Mabuhay, Bread and Circus, Brick and Spoon, Rusted Rooster, Cajan's Eatery, Village Cafe, Hook & Boil, Steve and Pat's Bon Temp, Masala, Cafe Habana City.
Any places the board would suggest as well? Like I said, no real reason for certain places. We just want to eat some good foods.
Thanks

Aren't you the one who normally recommends the places for this area ?
I'd recommend stopping at Parish Brewery.

Good god man I don't think doing them all in one day will do them justice.. And since they are mostly in town, it's not necessary. I thought you were talking about knocking out a bunch of places in Cajun country. If you insist, be sure to stop by kellers for sweets, or lagneaux's for the seafood buffet (note: not for faint of heart)

It's because I didn't include the Popeye's buffet

We will only get 1 or 2 small things from each place. Ideally I'd like to visit each place individually and do full meals at each, but we thought this would be a fun idea.

Both of us have done this already, although I did think hard about adding it to our list.
