Where's the Grateful Dead? And I dont understand how ABB could be second tier when they (and the Dead) pioneered the whole "jam band" genre.

Ween isn't a band anymore. They also in the past have said "frick jambands." I think they are in their own category of boognish. Really wish they would come back. One of the best.
Phil Lesh and Friends at tier 5 with crap like Papadosio and Conspirator is fricking bullshite and insulting.
Bela Fleck is really high. I respect them and everything, but who actually listens to that stuff?

I listen to it. They just don't tour down here. They are high because victor Wooten is the best bass player in that whole list and bela fleck is a virtuoso.
I gave every genre equal consideration.

2013 was a very strong year for Phil & Friends. The rotating cast of Marco Benevento, Mike Gordon, Joe Russo, Luther Dickinson, John K, and Anders Osborne really held it down. I need to make it out to Terrapin Crossroads.
Papadosio and Conspirator are the epitome of electroham garbage.
Derek Trucks is such a disappointment. He should lead an instrumental jazz fusion group instead of letting his count of a wife run the show. Too much potential to waste on some roots pop trainwreck. He could be one of the best.

I think you're a bit biased against jamtronica mon. Ironic how someone who claims to be "heady" hates jamtronica but loves Mickey Mouse music like Phil Lesh and friends.
