You classified both as a jam band bc you listed them both. Maybe give your criteria of a "jam band". Allman Brothers are one of the top american bands of alltime. Once YOU decide to classify them into a category, they become one of the best.
How many bands you listed are in the Rock n Roll HOF?

They are good but this thread is about jam bands. Their jams lack the substance and originality that are exclusive to tier one jam bands. They were tier 1 at one point but so was WSP before houser's death. You can replace a drummer or maybe even a bass player but not your lead guitar. When Jerry and Duane died, it was never the same

Yes they were and are. Google best jam bands and find an article that does not mention ABB. Just because they found commercial success and have the ability to cross genres doesn't mean they aren't a jam band.
Even their most successful studio album had a 30 minute track called Mountain Jam...so whats your definition of a "jam band"?

But I know Dave is fuggin killin' it anyways. I grab this girl next to me and we makeout for a solid 15min during Crash Into Me. I finally push that bitch off and low and behold some other slut starts grabbin my arse. After that I head to the bathroom with my bros and wait in line for 20 mins. We head back to our spot and some jackass is standing there. I'm about to bust his ugly Ted Danson lookin' face in, but before I can he whips out a joint and offers me and my crew to smoke up. He tells me he's there watching his daughter and her friends that are all in high school. Next thing I know I wake up in my Jeep with my dick hanging out of my zipper. Now this has happened to me before so it doesn't even phase me. I just pop in a sick 03' Dave CD and fricking cruise home.

TAB is way too low but pretty good on most of the others. The others that I might change are at least within about one level of where they should be.
