Worst movie I have possibly ever seen. Stone Giants help Noah build the ark? Russell Crowe as Noah going around in jeans? What a crock. I wasted 10 bucks last night.

That's quite the leap. Seems like he hated it because it didn't follow closely to the original story, that is pretty well known. Most people don't like when a movie is supposed to bring to life a book, and then is totally different.

Yeah man if they had kept it true to the Bible, THEN it would've been totally believable

Its not really about historical accuracy or believability, it just didnt follow the original story that its based on at all, which will upset people

Its like if JJ Abrams put lightsabers in the Star Trek reboot. Fans of the series would riot even though it is fiction or a story.

It's not as if the Noah story is exactly fleshed out enough for a movie though. For starters most people are basing it off their children's bible and not actual genesis. For example complaining about Noah getting drunk when the bible actually corroborates that he does. Even still, and correct if I'm wrong bc I haven't read a bible in like 15 years, the Noah story can't be more than like 20 pages right? I mean some sort of filler is going to have to be used. It's not like it's the big fleshed out story ready to be adapted like LoTR or Harry Potter.

Not to mention the basic story isn't exactly filled with a ton of drama and emotion.

That's because they edited out the unicorn pleading his case for a spot.

We talking 12 Angry Men type drama there.

Wow at the tools in this thread. Maybe he didn't like it because the movie was shitty. It doesn't have to be a religious debate.

I don't see any debate. I see a couple of lighthearted jokes, one I made myself. Seems you're getting your panties in a wad over nothing.
