at least it was a hollywood producer

this is what happens when cops shoot 1st and ask questions later...

heading these off at the pass..

* let's wait until we get all the facts
* the victim didn't follow direct orders
* victim threatened cops by moving towards them
* etc etc

bottom line is cops today are trained to use excessive force as their 1st response...shock and awe and all that resulting in Americans being more afraid of the police than criminals.

and the bottom line, before we hear from all the cop apologists, is another person is dead due to trigger happy cops gone wild, there's no way around this FACT

And here comes the white knight for any cops that do wrong

"I've been stabbed, I'm trying to get away from the attacker... Oh shite, theres a cop, let me run the opposite way, maybe they will shoot me in the back instead"

just food for thought if you get held a knife point. Don't run toward police while covered in blood. You make look like a psychopath.

i know you're kidding, but considering the cops likely surrounded every exit, and the two were fleeing for their lives, where should they have run? WTF would the cops anticipate if a couple of victims were to suddenly escape?

Which is apparently sufficient to justify your murder.

No no, he likely is not... If you have read any of his posts, you will see this is his usual line of thinking.

I know I said earlier I was going to switch to the cop side of this debate, but before I do, I wanted to add just one more thing..

cops responsible for 20% of Seattle homocides in 2013

"Of the 23 homicides that did not result from a police shooting, 15 remain unsolved. "

so it could be more than 20%

For all the terrorism fear mongering that goes on in this country, you're more likely to be killed by a cop than a terrorist.

They kill one victim, wound another and capture the actual perp with physical restraint?

Deputies “announced themselves” at the apartment but got no response. The door suddenly burst open and a bloodied man came out. At the same moment, Winkler ran out, “lunging at the back of the fleeing victim,” according to the department.

The deputies believed that “Winkler was the assailant and the assault was ongoing and he would attack the entry team.”

After the deputies fired on Winkler and the other man, they heard “sounds of a fight coming from inside the apartment,” according to the statement. They burst into the room and saw another male victim as well as the suspect, identified as Alexander McDonald. McDonald was choking the third victim and “tearing at his face,” officials said.

The deputies subdued McDonald and arrested him.

So, the guy stabbing people gets charged in the murder of a guy that the police erroneously shot while on the scene.

Imagine that guy in jail.

Yeah, I stabbed two or three people, didn't really hurt any of them. Just mainly stabbed them in the arms and legs. But one of the guys I stabbed ran out of the apartment and got killed by the police erroneously and I got convicted of his murder...

LOL...ok

Or maybe he was pushing his slow fricking arse to run faster! Why not shoot his leg like they did the other guy.

Seriously, the cop who's bullet killed the guy needs to be brought up on murder charges! That is NOT what they are taught to do.

Yep. bullshite ain't it?

Every cop who opened fire should lose their job and should be brought up on charges.

So a guy is lucky enough to get away from his attacker only to be gunned down by the police?

When one is being attacked and running for their life, I am not sure there's time to think about how you appear to the police.

According to Asgard, you should most definitely consider that...
