Anyone do French Quarter Fest today?

I hit it up for lunch. Butter beans from K-Paul's, hot sausage poboy from Vaucresson(sp), and White Chocolate Kingcake Bread Pudding from Haydel's. Good Jackson Square lunch. Anyone else go?

Not that crowded today, and not all of the stages were open - just the riverfront, Jackson Square and the stage at the intersection of Decatur and N. Peters. Crowds will increase tomorrow for Kermit Ruffins and Dr. John and then be insane for Sat and Sun.

I went for a little over an hour during lunch. Had the same hot sausage and dickie brennan bbq shrimp poboy.

Going tomorrow...avoiding it like the plague Saturday/Sunday
Since it's Friday, I'll probably be crushing the crawfish and goat cheese crepes to start off, then head toward the riverfront
