I spent some time down south today and noticed blue wings everywhere. I overheard some farmers talking about the huge numbers they have on their farms. Seems the spring migration is getting bigger and bigger with them stopping off here. Hell, I live in the city and had them buzzing the bayou behind my house just this morning.
Seems like moving about three days from the fall season to the Spring would be a kick in the arse, and the birds are absolutely beautiful now. Are they already bred? I don't know if that matters, seems one dead one in the fall that never got pregnant results in the same number of a pregnant one that got waxed. Hell, maybe even reduce the limit in the spring to 3 to reduce overall kill.
What say the OB?
