What are some Virtues Generations Before us had?

Been wondering about that lately. I know most will say hard work, etc. I'm 20, yet I feel like I have more in common with older generations. Whether it's how hard I work to the music I like.

Kindness to others would be high on the list, perhaps #1. Today is far more popular to be an a-hole to people than to be kind to them.
