Serio's Poboys Makeover

Passed by after work last night. It appears they are in a restaurant make over show. The inside was totally gutted of all furniture and equipment. I saw TV production equipment but couldn't tell which show it could have been. Anyone have the inside scoop?

God forbid there be even a single joint remaining in town that doesn't look like an interior decorating magazine puked all over the place. Omg, football helmets on the wall and outdated wood paneling! These are clearly microaggressions against our new hipster artiste transplant overclass.

My point really wasn't related to the look of the place -- outside of maybe Mike's stupid "office" set up right there in the dining area.

Could care less about the decor, which is welcoming, and more about making decent food. To steal a line from BO, I wouldn't wish a Serio's roast beef poboy on my worst enemy.

I used to go there pretty frequently. Then noticed them starting to get more and more half-assed about everything after each time (all while inching up the prices of everything), to the point that I probably haven't been in a couple of years.
It was once probably the one decent deli type establishment downtown. It had just turned into complete crap, though. Seems like there's a bit of promise for such a thing again.

Haven't been since Mardi '01. Don't recall much about it save for it being a cool little dive poboy shop. Hopefully they don't completely bastardize the inside.

Just saw the show where Serios went against a little place called Juneaus for an investment from Taffer, Besh and Tiffany_____.
